In Buddhism, the purpose of caring for ourselves and our bodies is so that we can have the resilience and energy to care for others and have time to practice our spiritual path. This weekend retreat will focus on meditation and Buddhist practices for health and long life, including Medicine Buddha for health and White Tara for long life. These are beginner/intermediate level practices with instruction and discussion led by Venerable Lozang Yönten, open to everyone who has an interest or background in Buddhism.
