There’s an old saying that “Silence is Golden.” Come spend the weekend at our beautiful retreat centre discovering for yourself the sounds of silence – how silent practice and meditation can deepen your peace of mind and allow you to more fully experience life. The retreat begins with a public talk on Friday night to introduce the retreat and meditations. You’ll be guided then through practices on Saturday, with everyone walking, eating and sitting in silence. The retreat ends with a concluding question and answer session on Sunday morning after breakfast.

The first session of the course is at 7:30pm on Friday night, and finishes at 10:00am on Sunday. Delicious and homemade vegan meals (with dairy provided on the side) provided from breakfast on Saturday through breakfast on Sunday for $37.50. If you are arriving early on Friday, you can add dinner (served at 6:00pm) for an additional $7.50. Gluten-free available on request for an additional $5 for the weekend.
We offer this course to you on a donation basis. To register, you just need to pay for food and your choice of accommodation, and you can add a donation in whatever amount you can afford to give with an open heart. If you need to cancel, we’ll refund your money minus a $50 administration fee until 24 hours before the retreat begins, at which time the registration is non-refundable.
