Coromandel Activities

The Coromandel Peninsula is an amazing area of New Zealand for tramping, cycling, boating, family activities and sightseeing. If you are visiting as a guest, Mahamudra Centre is a peaceful respite as you leave daily life, as well as a base for activities in the Colville area. Our mission as a Buddhist Retreat Centre means guests follow the five ethical precepts and help create a peaceful refuge for everyone, as well as the conditions for introspection and meditation. Please see our Visiting the Centre page for details and our pet policy.

For information about what you can find around this beautiful area, here are some resources to help.
