You can also book a weekend on-site massage with one of our local massage therapists. Ness Mack specialises in Shiatzu, and Sarah Taylor uses relaxation, Reiki, and more. Please contact our office about rates and bookings.
Starting in August
Sundays – 8:30am meditation is followed by yoga with local yoga instructor Kate Shelley. $10 to join in the yoga class – bring your gear if you have it, or we’ll provide it. Please dress modestly to help maintain the atmosphere of our retreat centre and meditation hall.
Special weekend demonstrations, tours, and classes
We’ll have something special every weekend for our visitors. You might find a writing workshop, art demonstration, introduction to Dharma talk, a tour of the centre, or something else interesting. Check our calendar to see what’s on.
Of course the entire Coromandel area is a fantastic place to visit with many activities to offer.
Prayers and Pujas
We have special prayer ceremonies called pujas for healing of body and mind, finding inner peace, removing life and health obstacles, and creating a closer connection to our spiritual guides every month and on special holy Buddhist days. We also have special animal blessings and liberation ceremonies (for all creatures great and small). They are planned based on the Tibetan lunar calendar, so the days of the week vary, but you can check our calendar what’s happening when you’d like to visit. You can also sponsor offerings or a puja to benefit your friends and family (see our prayers and pujas page for details).
