Supporting Us

We rely on volunteers year-round for everything from ground maintenance, puja and gompa setup, cooking, to graphic design and fundraising. Whatever your talent and wherever you are located, we’d like to offer a way to create merit by doing service for one of Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Dharma centres in a role you’d enjoy. Please contact us if you’d like to get involved.

If you are interested in living at Mahamudra Centre for a month or longer by offering volunteer service, please see the benefits available and our guidelines for applying to be a long-term volunteer.

Financial Support

We are incredibly grateful to our supporters, because without them we would not be here. Our expenses are always larger than our income, plus there are also many projects we would do given additional funding, including fulfilling the advice of Lama Zopa Rinpoche to improve and build certain holy objects. If you would like to contribute, please donate or become an ongoing supporting member. We also have special current projects that offer sponsorship opportunities.

Donations can be made by bank transfer (see below), or online on our Give A Little page. (Please note – the Give A Little website now charges us a 5% processing fee, so please consider adding that fee to your payment so it isn’t deducted from your donation to the centre.)

In Kind Donations

We have many needs for new and lightly used goods. Local businesses and friends support us with labour, extra stock, food donations, and more. For just some suggestions of things we need, see our wish list.

Shop in our Shop

All proceeds from our shop benefit Mahamudra Centre, so you can enjoy making a purchase that creates good karma! We endeavor to keep an interesting and changing selection of gifts, books and Tibetan Buddhist goods, and if you are looking for something in particular let us know.
