Vajrasattva Jenang & Retreat

Join us for this very special retreat experience!

4-11 June 2021

“We need a powerful purification practice like the tantric yoga method of  Vajrasattva to destroy both the energy forces of the ignorant mind and the negative actions of body and speech that arise from it.”

– Lama Thubten Yeshe

About Vajrasattva Practice

The Vajrasattva practice is said to be particularly powerful for freeing oursevles from negative thought patterns, emotions and behaviour. Unique to Tibetan Buddhism, the practice uses visualization, mantra, prayer and meditation to purify and let go of whatever holds back in our spiritual practice and our daily lives.

Whether you are already practicing in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition or new to it, this retreat offers a rare opportunity to undertake this powerful practice in a supportive retreat environment, with full instructions, guidance and personal support provided by retreat leader Ven. Khadro.

Everyone is welcome to attend Geshe Wangchen’s teachings and the Vajrasattva retreat, no prior experience required.
Participants may opt to join the weekend teachings, the retreat, or both. For those wishing to take the Vajrasattva initiation, please note that taking Refuge (formally becoming a Buddhist, or refreshing those vows if you have already taken them) and the Bodhisattva Vows are part of the ceremony. However, you can still do the Vajrasattva practice even if you do not attend the ceremony.
